New!! Plunge Cutter and Router

The Xycorp, Inc. Plunge Cutter / Router Attachment is a 3rd and 4th axis that attaches to our large format contour cutting machine. This attachment is capable of plunging down into a slab of EPS foam and rotating to any angle you draw on the SimplePath™ program. You can use the positive to coat with our Auto-coat® to finish the arch. You can even use the negative as a mold to make your own casting.

Arches can be achieved with a simple half circle to the dimension you require. Complete doorway arches can be made in a matter of minutes, and you can copy & paste as many archways as will fit on the slab of foam. You can also draw and cut circles, ovals and other shapes that you can think of that you would normally have to cut by hand. Every contour shape will be cut to the exact size and angle you draw onto the screen. That means you can save your work and recall the job at a later time and make the same exact shape as before.
